Will we stay here or move away after a while?
The city is here, we are its residents
We will stay here and it has a name:

Budapest, Hungary’s capital, the country’s principal political, cultural, commercial, industrial, and transportation centre, with an estimated population of over 1,7 million distributed over a land area of about 525 square kilometres. Voted as the world’s second most popular tourist destination by Conde Nast’s Travelers’ Choice Awards, undoubtedly a must-to-visit for any traveller. But what is behind the numbers and stats? How do we, “Budapesters” live our everyday life? The exhibition “The City is Here, We Are its Residents” aims to reveal what makes Budapest truly and uniquely Budapest, through the works of twelve artists, including photography, video and sculpture.
Exhibiting artists: Dávid Biró, Zsolt Ficsór, Dániel Halász, Bálint Hirling, Márton Kállai, Gábor Arion Kudász, Gábor Martin, Wanda Martin, Zsófia Pályi, Ottó Szabó, Gergely Szatmári, Katalin Vasali
